CA 8793 In a process for pre-entangling a synthetic multifilament yarn, the yarn is entangled under 0.5 to 3.0 bar preliminary to entry into the drawing, texturing and/or draw-texturing zone in such a way that satisfactory further processing to give a textile sheetlike structure free of markings is possible without a further entangling step after the texturing or drawing process.
