PURPOSE:To adjust an ink supply amount to each division area stepwise by a method wherein in a printing device adjusting an ink supply amount for every division area of a pressplate, a plurality of pumps corresponding to one division area are selectively driven or stopped. CONSTITUTION:An ink rail 36 having a recessed surface is disposed opposedly and proximately to the peripheral surface of an ink cylinder 35 of an ink supply path 33. A plurality of ink delivery ports 37 are juxtaposed on the recessed surface in parallel to the axis of a plate cylinder 31 so as to respectively correspond to division areas P1-P8, which is obtained by equally dividing a pressplate 32 loaded on the plate cylinder 31. in the axial direction of the plate cylinder 31. Each of the ink delivery ports 37 connects to each of pump groups 11-18 through an ink tube 22. Each of the pump groups consists of three pumps 1-3, which have a volume ratio of 1: 2: 4 and are to be individually driven/stopped. The pumps 1-3 are connected to an ink source 20 through the ink tubes 22. The drive/stop and drive speed of the pump is controlled by a control means 4. |
