PURPOSE:To obtain a composition useful for aged people, infants, etc., being readily administered to patients having restriction in intake of water without concern for bitterness, etc., by molding a herb preparation into a semisolid state by the use of gelatin. CONSTITUTION:A herb preparation selected from SHIREIYU, SYOZAIKOTO, SHIBOKUYU AND GOREISAN is molded by the use of gelatin into a semisolid state of jelly state to give the objective composition. The amount of the gelatin used is preferably 3.5-5.5 W/W% based on the final composition and the composition is preferably blended with a flavor mix such as apple taste or pineapple taste and sugar. |
