PURPOSE:To provide a prepreg for manufacturing a molded form given toughness without damaging the excellent mechanical characteristics and thermal characteristics of a matrix resin when high-strength carbon fibers, etc., are used as a reinforcing material and said molded form. CONSTITUTION:A prepreg obtained by impregnating a base material composed of reinforcing material lints and thermoplastic resin lints with a thermo-setting resin composition cured at a temperature lower than the melting point of said thermoplastic resin lints and a molded form acquired by molding the prepreg are provided. The prepreg combining excellent mechanical characteristics, thermal characteristics, toughness and shock resistance and having characteristics, in which cracks generated are difficult to be propagated, and the molded form can be manufactured easily. |
