PURPOSE:To efficiently wash vegetables and fruits having different sizes and shapes placed on valleys between plural rotary washing brush rows arranged in parallel while transporting smoothly by a specific method using a conveyor of a specific constitution. CONSTITUTION:Materials 2 to be washed are placed on an inlet part 1a at one side of valleys between plural rotary washing brush rows arranged in parallel, the materials 2 to be washed are cleaned, while being forcedly transported by a conveyor 4 installed in parallel with the top or the bottom of the rotary washing brushes 1 and in the same shaft direction from the inlet part 1a side at one end of the washing brush lines to an outlet part 1b side at the other end and being rotated by revolution of the washing brushes 1. |
