PURPOSE:To provide such a safety device for a turbo charger with a dinamo- electric machine that can detect abnormality of a processing device easily, resets only that processing device with which abnormality occurs, and perform complete backing up when any abnormality occurs. CONSTITUTION:Each of processing devices 51-53 provided in a driving device which drives a dynamo-electric machine individually has a supervising circuit 57, which detects malfunction of its respective processing device and resets that processing device. A safety control circuit 54, having received a malfunction occurrence signal from the supervising circuit, commands a normal processing device to take measures against abnormality so as to secure minimum necessary steps for safety. |
