PURPOSE:To flatten the color filters by a heat treatment after printing and to improve the flattening degree at a high yield by using thermoplastic ink for the ink of the color filters to be produced by a printing method. CONSTITUTION:A black photosensitive resin is applied on a transparent substrate 20 consisting of glass, etc., and is exposed by using a mask, by which a black matrix 21 is provided. The thermoplastic ink 22 of red, green and blue colors are respectively indepently packed into the black matrix 21 and are subjected to a drying treatment. The ink 22 are made to reflow by the heat treatment and are thereby flattened on the surface. The ink 22 are then irradiated with UV light and is thereby cured. An over coat layer 23 is thereafter applied thereon to perfect the color filters. Namely, a flow property is generated when the ink are used by using the thermoplastic ink for the ink 22. Both ends are then pulled by the surface tension and are flattened. Then, the distribution of the colors in the picture elements is averaged. |
