PURPOSE:To beautiful fluorescent sheet-like article exhibiting a sufficient fluorescent property even at high molding temperatures, having high safety, used for the covers of writing materials, cases, etc., and characterized by adding a heat-resistant fluorescent coloring agent to an olefinic polymer. CONSTITUTION:An olefinic polymer (e.g. polypropylene) is blended with a fluorescent coloring agent produced by adding a fluorescent dye such as rhodamine to a carrier as a heat-resistant fluorescent coloring agent generating sufficient fluorescence even in the cases of high molding temperatures in an amount of 0.1-10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the olefinic polymer, and if necessary further with a nucleating agent, an antistatic agent, an UV absorber, an antioxidant, etc., and subsequently formed into a sheet-like shape to obtain the objective sheet-like article releasing a beautiful fluorescent color. The carrier comprises a multi-functional acid such as phthalic anhydride and an amino resin produced by reacting urea, etc., with formaldehyde, etc. |
