PURPOSE:To prevent slip definitely by allowing a slip-prevention piece or a stopper to be engaged with the inside of a header when a partitioning member is inserted into a slit-shaped opening section of the header in terms of a hollow header which is partitioned with a partitioning member and in which tubes are continuously communicated and connected with each other by means of the partitioning member. CONSTITUTION:In a heat exchanger, both ends of a large number of flat tubes 1 are connected with two headers 3 on both sides where a heat exchanger medium is distributed in zigzag in a flow passage constituted by the tubes 1 by means of a sheet-like partitioning member 7 installed in each header 3 at a specified height. In this case, there is formed a slit-shaped opening section 10, which runs in its radial direction over halfway around the header, on the side opposite to a tube insertion hole 9 of the header 3. The partitioning member 7, in which the tips of a pair of partitioning boards 12 and 13 are communicated with each other, is inserted into the opening section 10. During this insertion, an attempt is made to engage a tongue-shaped slip prevention piece raised substantially in the center of the partitioning board on one side with the inner wall of the header 3 so as to prevent slip. |
