PURPOSE:To clean a blower consisting of a sirocco fan easily and to remove soil between respective wings of the sirocco fan reliably. CONSTITUTION:A blower 1 provided with a sirocco fan 6 having a large number of wings 5, and a wind direction adjusting flap 8 having a swing mechanism on a peripheral portion of the sirocco fan 6, is fixed on a pedestal 11, and the swing of the wind direction adjusting flap 8 is regulated, and a rotating brush 16 is rotated around a rotating shaft 15 provided in a direction perpendicular to the axial line of the sirocco fan 6 while inserting tips of the brush hairs into a wing row of the sirocco fan 6. By moving the rotating brush 16 or the pedestal 11 relatively to each other in parallel to the axial line of the sirocco fan 6, and at the same time by jetting air from nozzles 18, 19 arranged in the vicinity of the rotating brush 16, soil adhered between respective wings 5 of the sirocco fan 6 can be exfoliated and removed. |
