PURPOSE:To provide a grinding oil for electrolytic dressing, permitting to stably perform an electrolytic dressing processing without deteriorating the conductivity by dissolving or dispersing a water-soluble carboxylic acid, a specific organic basic compound and/or an inorganic alkaline compound, and a strong electrolyte in constant amounts in water. CONSTITUTION:The objective grinding oil improving the performance of grinding processing is characterized by dissolving or dispersing (A) a water-soluble carboxylic acid such as butyric acid, malonic acid, malic acid, citric acid or hydroxyacetic acid, (B) an organic basic compound such as morpholine or monoethanolamine and/or an inorganic alkaline compound such as potassium hydroxide, both being capable of forming a salt with the component A, and (C) a strong electrolyte, preferably a chloride, sulfate, sulfite, nitrate and/or nitrite, in water, the total amount of the components A and B being 5-95 pts.wt. and the component C being 0.01-15 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the objective grinding oil. |
