PURPOSE:To construct a disc grinder with good gripping and operating characteristics and also a D-handle for it by installing the handle dislocated from the axis of the body of disc grinder. CONSTITUTION:At the side of the body 1 of a disc grinder, a D-handle 2 is installed, which is rotatable round the center 1b of a rotary drive shaft, can be fixed in specific position, and has a uniform dia. in the upper 2a, lower 2b, and rear 2c part. The power cord 9 is not wired on the D-handle 2 but at the body 1. At the time with cutting operation, the working wire 5a of a tip tool 5 shall lie in line with the handle 2. Thereby the center of gravity of the body of rotary tool is positioned being pinched by the handle 2 and a side handle 6, and it is easy to draw the body toward the operator. The handle can face differently between in grinding/polishing and in cutting, and operation can be well carried out whether the operator is lefthanded or righthanded. |
