PURPOSE:To recover lead cutting chips generated during a lead cutting operation of a mounting printed board without scattering them to the periphery. CONSTITUTION:A transparent cover 1 has a pair of side plates 9a, 9b made of a transparent material and a first oblique plate 10 made also of the transparent material surrounding at least a mounting printed board 21 placed on a bottom frame 2 and a lead cutting base 7 at least from its three directions. A lead cutter is inserted from an opening 12 provided at the one side plate 9a to cut the excess lead of the board 21. Lead cutting chips are brought into contact with the plate 10 and recoiled toward a metal gauze 8 of the frame 2. The chips passed through the mesh of the gauze 8 are dropped in a recovery box 6 disposed thereunder. |
