PURPOSE:To make processing speed constant at all the places of forming the line segments of a letter in order to prevent the line segments being marked from intersecting one another by a method wherein a plurality of straight lines are marked successively intersecting at a point along the center of line segments forming the parts of a thick letter upon printing to produce thickly printed letters. CONSTITUTION:Line segments are marked successively along a locus of laser in such a way as to constantly perpendicularly intersect the center line 1 of a thick letter formed by the laser. At this time, the pitch (a) between the successive line segments of the laser locus 2 and the width (b) of the line segment equivalent to that of the thick line can be specified. A function of extending or shortening the end of the thick line is provided in case the thick lines should intersect one another. At this time, the length (c) of the thick line to be shortened and the length (d) thereof to be extended can be specified. In this way the processing of the uniformly thick letter becomes possible. |
