PURPOSE:To decrease the number of magnification setting relative keys for a fixed magnification mode and a zoom copy mode by providing a pair of a reduction key and an enlargement key for magnification setting and switching the fixed magnification mode and zoom copy mode according to the continuous depression time of them is long or short. CONSTITUTION:On a console panel 10, a magnification display part 4 which displays set magnifications, a reduction key 1 and an enlargement key 3 for the fixed magnification mode and zoom copy mode, etc., are disposed. The mode is switched to the fixed magnification mode or zoom copy mode according to whether the continuous depression time of the reduction key 1 and enlargement key 3 is long or short. For example, when the reduction key 1 or enlargement key 3 is depressed normally (e.g. <=2 seconds), the mode is switched to the fixed magnification mode and when the key is depressed for >2 seconds, the mode is switched to the zoom copy mode. Consequently, reduction keys and enlargement keys need not be provided for the respective modes and the fixed magnification mode or zoom copy mode is selected with the pair of the reduction key 1 and enlargement key 3 to set magnification. |
