Apparatus for removing and rehanging (refitting) doors. The invention relates to apparatus allowing, as its main characteristic, the removal and rehanging of doors by a single individual. This apparatus is made of a vertical rail (1) with a small upright with internal slide (2). The base of the apparatus is articulated (7), this triangle with a roller (8) folds up. The small internal slide (2) is actuated by a worm (5) moved by a cranking handle (crank) (4) with very flexible operation owing to its demultiplication (step-down gearing) avoiding any effort. The lifting bracket (3) is fixed to this small internal slide (2). <IMAGE>
