PURPOSE:To enhance the durability by suppressing deterioration of an endless polishing belt resulting from heat emission involved in the grinding process; and accomplish surface polishing in compliance strictly with the profile of a work to be polished. CONSTITUTION:An endless polishing belt arrangement concerned is constructed in double structure from an outer belt for polishing 2 and an inner belt 4 for suppressing heat emission and giving the specified shape, and a work to be polished W is pressed to the polishing surface of the polishing belt 2 to undergo the polishing process. With the work W the profile of the heat suppressing and shaping belt 4 is embodied in female form so as to generate fit contact with the profile of the work W. Thereby the friction heat generated can be dispersed to the two belt 2, 4, and at the same time, the work W eventually having rough surface be polished over its whole surfaces. |
