PURPOSE:To provide the rubber kneader which can disperse a chemical such as a vulcanization accelerator or the like into rubber efficiently and evenly and carry out such a work simultaneously in the process of mixing and extruding rubber. CONSTITUTION:A rubber feeding hopper 6 is installed in the vicinity of one end of a cylinder 2 and a chemical feeding hopper 9 is installed in a position separately to a certain extent from the rubber feeding hopper 6 in a screw extruder provided with the cylinder 2, an outer screw 12 and a screw 3, stored concentrically in the cylinder 2 and rotatable around its axis. A screw bar 3 passing through the bottom section of chemical feeding hopper 9 and the wall of cylinder 2 and thrusing into the cylinder 2 is installed rotatably around its own axis, and a slit 13 in which the screw bar 8 can pass when the screw 3 is rotated is formed on the thread of the screw 3. |
