PURPOSE:To reproduce the hues of an object in high fidelity, especially, those of bluish green and green objects and to enhance color purity, especially, that of the green object. CONSTITUTION:The color photographic sensitive material of this invention has at least each one of blue-, green-, and red-sensitive layers, and the maximum sensitivity wavelength lambdaBmax of the spectral sensitivity distribution of the blue-sensitive layer giving its density DB as follows; DB=DBmin+0.7, is 415nm <=lambdabmax<=470nm, where Dmin is the minimum density of this layer, and sensitivity at 480nm SB480 is <=35% of SBmax at lambdaBmax. On the other hand, in the green- sensitive layer the maximum sensitivity wavelength lambdaGmax of the spectral sensitivity distribution of the green-sensitive lately giving its density DG as follows; DG=DGmin+0.7, is 530nm <=lambdaGmax<=560nm, where DGmin is the minimum density of this layer, and sensitivity at 500nm SG500 is >=25% of SGmax at lambdaGmax.
