PURPOSE:To prevent a signal output from being degradated even through a prepit space is shortened in order to increase the recording density of an optical recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A reflection preventing film 2 having a larger refractive index than a refractive index of a substrate 1 is provided on the substrate 1. Here the film thickness 6 of the reflection preventing film 2 at a land part 4 is thicker than the film thickness 7 of the reflection preventing film 2 at a prepit bottom part 5. Then the reflectance of the prepit bottom part 5 becomes higher than that of the land part 4. |
