<p>PURPOSE:To engage projections of upper and lower half covers with engaging holes to facilitate mounting of the covers by inserting a vibration control bedplate between a striker and a car body, and engaging male connecting parts with female connecting holes in order for the covers to be pressed against the car body. CONSTITUTION:Both leg-parts 3, 3 of a U-shaped connecting rod 2 are inserted into the central part of a metal bedplate 1 to form a striker 5, and a vibration control bedplate 6 is inserted between the striker and a car body 7 so as to abut on the car body 7. Then, screws 11, 11 are inserted into through holes 4, 4 of the metal bedplate 1 and through holes 8, 8 of the vibration control bedplate 6 to be screwed and fixed into tapped holes 12, 12. The metal plate 1 is then covered by an upper half cover 13 from above, and covered by a lower half cover 14 from below, and circular arc-like notches 15, 15, 19, 19 of the respective covers 13, 14 are fitted onto both the leg-parts 3, 3. Then, the covers 13, 14 are pressed on the car body 7 side with two, right and left male connecting parts 16, 16 engaged with female connecting holes 22, 22 to engage projections 23, 24 with engaging holes 10, 10, and thus mounting of the covers is easy, and the striker can be easily covered.</p> |
