PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductor storing device with a small circuit area and with few access delay in the semiconductor storing device accessing by replacing a defective cell with a surplus cell at the time of operating. CONSTITUTION:A defective bit is detected by a self diagnostic circuit 12 at the time of applying power source, the address is stored to a register 13. Thereafter, at every address input, whether an inputted address is the address of the defective bit or not is decided by a coincidence circuit 14, when the defective bit is selected, a surplus word line 6 is selected by a row address decoder 4 and the defective cell is replaced with the surplus cell. |
