PURPOSE:To shorten the time needed for switch to a redundant system after the abnormality occurred and to execute speedily response to a mission. CONSTITUTION:A computer system 3 works in a master mode of an on-line system, and a computer system 5 is kept in a called stand-by state with a monitor device 1 kept in a slave mode respectively. When the abnormality occurred in the system 3 is recognized by the device 1., a master mode is set end both systems 3 and 5 are forcibly set in the slave modes. The device 1 kept in a master mode instructs the automatic application of the power supply of a no- break power circuit 4 included in the system 5. The system 5 starts a boot load operation of an operating system after a resetting operation. When 8 normal boot load operation is confirmed, the device 1 instructs a master mode to the system 5 through a bus line 10 and is set in a slave mode to transfer the control right of the line 10. Thus a redundant switching operation is complete. |
