<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a production process by providing a digitizer controller having a means to detect the revolution of a digitizer ball and a means to transfer data with a communicating means. CONSTITUTION:A digitizer ball 1 is rotatably supported by the four rollers with encoders on the inside concave face of a digitizer controller 2. The digitizer ball 1 can be revolved with the three degrees of freedom, and this revolution is detected by the four rollers with encoders on the inside concave face of the digitizer controller 2 and reported through a communicating mechanism to a host computer. In this case, the digitizer ball 1 and the digitizer controller 2 respectively have the communicating means depending on radio waves or ultrasonic waves so as to execute communication between the both. Therefore, the digitizer controller 2 exchanges data or commands with the digitizer ball 1 and further detects the revolution of the digitizer ball 1 as the pedestal of the digitizer ball 1.</p> |
