<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title manufacturing method of potential nonlinear resistor having excellent humidity resistance and electrical characteristics such as discharge breakdown strength, varistor potential change rate, etc., after the em-pression with lightning surge. CONSTITUTION:Within the title manufacturing method of potential non-linear resistor by baking a molded body comprising a mixture in specific shape mainly composed of zinc oxide containing at least bismuth compound as an additive component, the temperature falling process in the baking step at least between 700-500 deg.C is cooled down at the temperature falling rate of 60-400 deg.C/hr while specifying the in-furnace oxygen concentration to exceed 60% in said process at least between 700-500 deg.C.</p> |
