PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material exhibiting superior magnetic characteristics with a little adverse effect on optical photographic properties by cocasting a dope containing a magnetic recording material and a dope fluid not containing it to form a support. CONSTITUTION:A laminar flow is formed by allowing both of the dope containing the magnetic recording material and the dope not containing it to join each other, preferably, in the outlet of a slit or midway through the slit, for example, in a giesser upstream from the outlet of the slit and to extrude them out of the slit and to cast them on a band or a drum moving with respect to a hopper, and a recording film is obtained by peeling them after drying to some degree. The kind of the polymer material to be used for both dopes may be same or different.
