To test the functional capacity of a given mobile radio system with its system components, for example radio station, base station controller, mobile switch etc., the use of purpose-built mobile testing equipment is particularly appropriate. Means (computers, terminals etc.) and personnel (system experts) are currently required at the location of use to operate the mobile testing equipment. The object of the invention is to design the mobile testing equipment in such a way that its mobile use is exploited and equipment and personnel costs are eliminated at the location of use. This is achieved through modification of existing interfaces and through the thereby-enabled exchange of control signals between the mobile testing equipment and the mobile radio system operation and maintenance centre. <IMAGE> |
