The apparatus collects and stores traffic data and eliminates unnecessary message. The processed traffic data is reconstructed by a fixed form and transmitted to the host computer of a traffic supervising system. The apparatus includes a 2 port modem (6) for transmitting and receiving traffic data and comment character data from a traffic supervising system (1), a RS-232C port (5) for communicating data between a microprocessor (7) and an electronic exchange (4), a microprocessor (7) for eliminating unnecessary message, for reconstructing traffic data, and for analyzing comment character transmitted from a traffic supervising system, LEDs (LD1-LD6) for displaying state of transmission lines, and auxiliary memory units (14,15) for storing communication data.
