There is disclosed a hand-held labeler with roll mounting members adapted to mount a label supply roll, together with mechanism to move the roll holding members relatively away from each other to facilitate loading and unloading label supply rolls. The labeler includes a protective cover and the mechanism is operated upon movement of the cover between closed and open positions. |
