PURPOSE:To prevent minute uneven surface from disappearing after thermal processing by a method wherein the resin temperature of methacrylate resin molten plate-like matter, which comes into contact with a roll having minute unevenness, is controlled to be the specified value when minute unevenness is given to the surface of the methacrylate resin molten plate-like matter with the roll having minute unevenness. CONSTITUTION:After being extruded from an extruder through a die, molten plate-like resin is fed between a lower roll 3 and a middle roll 4 having a minute uneven surface in order to produce minute unevenness on the surface of the plate-like resin 2. After that, after being passed half round an upper roll 5, the plate-like resin 2 is taken off with take-off rolls 6 and further sent to an after-working process. In this case, a temperature sensor 7 and electric heaters 8 are arranged on the surface, which is opposite to the middle roll 4, of the plate-like resin 8 closely contacting with the middle roll 4. The energizing of the heaters 8 is controlled with a resin temperature controlling panel 9 in response to the resin temperature detected with the temperature sensor 7 so as to set the temperature of the molten resin 2 within the range of 220-280 deg.C. |
