The system makes it possible to supply, electrically and hydraulically, a rotary plate (2) which has to carry out a rotation of approximately one and a half turns. It is composed principally of two chains (10A, 10B) which are each connected to each other by means of a cylinder (4A, 4B). The two cylinders are held, one beside the other, by elastic means (6) so that the two chains almost completely surround the support track (8) on which they are mounted. The outer halves (sides) (12A, 12B) may thus slide with respect to the inner halves (11A, 11B) of the two chains which may thus have a fixed end (13A, 13B) and an end (9A, 9B) attached to the rotary plate (2).
