PURPOSE:To decrease power consumption by extending a life of a conveyance driving system in a sheet afterprocessing device(sorter). CONSTITUTION:In a CPU1001 for controlling a speed of a sheet material conveying motor 411 in a sorter 400, rotation of the motor 411 is controlled in such a manner that when a conveying speed of the motor 411 is slower than a sheet discharge speed of a copying machine main unit, the conveying speed of the motor 411 is set to the sheet discharge speed of the main unit, thereafter to maintain the set conveying speed by reading a rotational speed of the motor 411. |
