PURPOSE:To obtain a therapeutic part which hardly changes in color and maintains a physical property even after subjected to ionizing radiation, by using a specific kind of aromatic polycarbonate resin composition. CONSTITUTION:A polyether having a repetitive unit represented by the formula I is compounded by 0.1-5wt.% with a halogenated aromatic polycarbonate resin containing a halogen by 0.1-10wt.%, and the compound is molded through the injection molding, extrusion molding, blow molding, press molding, etc. The halogenated aromatic polycarbonate resin is obtained by reacting a bisphenol A and a halogenated bisphenol A with phosgene or ester-interchanging the bisphenols with diphenylcarbonate. The polyether represented by the formula I has a molecular weight in a range of 1,000-8,000, and polypropylene glycol is listed. This composition possesses high resistivity to ionizing radiation. |
