PURPOSE:To provide an information recording medium and an information recording device used with the medium suppressing the influence of both bits before and after reproduction and improving an optical resolution. CONSTITUTION:A saturable absorber 102 is provided on an information recording medium 103 or in the medium inside 102. Since the recording information only in the area more than a specific light intensity in a convergence spot is detected, a fine information bit less than the optical resolution becomes reproducible and the recording density of the optical disc is remarkably improved.
