METHOD OF FORMING SEAL MATERIAL ON PERIPHERAL EDGE OF OPENING OF CASE AND CASE USED FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide a method of forming simply a seal material of almost constant height of seal surface even for a case formed in a seal material forming a channel curved not only in the horizontal direction but also in the up and down direction. CONSTITUTION:A seal material is formed on the peripheral edge of an opening 10 of a case in the method in which a liquid raw material 28 for seal material is injected into a seal material forming channel 16 and solidified therein while the raw material is moved along the seal material forming channel 16 of the Case formed on the peripheral edge of the opening 10 and curved or inclined partly and encircling the opening. The height of sealed face can be formed almost constant at the time of solidifying the liquid raw material 28 for seal material by increasing and decreasing the sectional area of the seal material forming channel 16 at the curved sections 20 and 22 and an inclined section 24 of the seal material forming channel.
