<p>A micrometer comprising a pistol-shaped body (10) contains an electric motor (15) connected to a coder (21) driving an endless screw (19), coupled to a measuring pin (26) rigidly fixed to a spring (27), by means of an endless screw (107), a shaft (108) and a helical screw (109). Said spring (27) stores mechanical energy and restores it as a bearing force exerted by sensors (28) via a cone (30) on the surface of the part to be measured. A coder (33) outputs a pulse for each micron of measuring pin movement, which moves the cone (30) and spaces the sensors (28) apart.</p> |
