<p>A can protector (1) for a drink can (2) which has an openable hole (3) and a hole-opening device (4) on its top surface (5) comprises a cover (6), retaining means (7, 10), one or more access openings (8, 9) allowing access to the hole (3), and closure means (8, 9) for covering or uncovering the hole (3). The arrangement is such that the can protector (1) does not need to be removed from the can (2) in order to open the hole (3), and the protector can be used to cover or uncover the hole at will, by closing the closure means (8, 9) or rotating the protector (1), thus ensuring both that the top surface of the can is hygienically protected and that insects cannot enter the can.</p> |
