GESINTERTER ALUMONIUMOXID-GEGENSTAND MIT HOHER BIEGEFESTIGKEIT UND VERFAHREN ZU SEINER HERSTELLUNG.
摘要
A sintered alumina article 3 having an excellent flexural strength comprises numerous sintered plate crystalline corundum particles 1,4 each having cleavage surface planes 2. The particles 1,4 are accumulated on and bonded to each other in a manner such that the cleavage surface planes 2 of the accumulated plate crystalline particles 4 are substantially in parallel to each other. The sintered article 3 is produced by forming the plate crystalline corundum particles 1 into a predetermined shape so that the plate crystalline particles 1 are accumulated in the above-mentioned manner, and by sintering the resultant precursory article at 1500 DEG C or more under the ambient atmospheric pressure.
