<p>The invention relates to a high-speed steel which is manufactured powder-metallurgically and has the following chemical composition: 2.2-2.7 C, from traces to max 1.0 Si, from traces to max 1.0 Mn, 3.5-4.5 Cr, 2.5-4.5 Mo, 2.5-4.5 W, 7.5-9.5 V, balance essentially only iron, impurities and accessory elements in normal amounts. The steel is suitable particularly for tools having a high wear resistance.</p> |
