<p>A static semiconductor converter for converting electrical energy, particularly an inverter-type converter. Said converter includes condition sensors (DKD1, DKD2) combined with switch/diode assemblies and specific logic for making the converter bistable to avoid short circuits and further prevent any sharp blocking of the freewheeling diodes (D1, D2). Said converter gives low switching loss so it is able to operate at high frequency, and furthermore has a broad operating range.</p> |
