The transmission method uses a known pulse-interval modulation. For the increase of the transmission reliability, a number of further measures are combined. For this purpose the transmit frequency, the transmit rate, and the quartz frequency of a microprocessor are precisely matched. In the transmission, a high signal is represented by a pulse while a low singal is represented by a pulse absence, with the interval time constant. Pref. several ultrasonic pulses are used for representing a high signal. The intervals are used for transmission of a repeater signal of the same frequency during this time period. USE/ADVANTAGE - For ultrasonic data transmission via machine parts, pupes, supports etc, with high reliability and at high data rate.
