The mass balancer for a screening machine consists of a base frame hinged by levers to a vibro-frame and with an eccentric drive. The drive should be fixed to base frame (1) or foundation and apart from the eccentric engagement point (6) alongside the central drive axis (11) for intermittent machine drive, the drive has a balance weight (8) eccentric to the bearing point. A second balance weight (9) rotates eccentrically round a second axis (13) and the two weight axes (11, 13) are coupled to rotate opposite ways in synchronism. The two weights are mirror-identically arranged relative the centre plane (10) of the two shafts. USE/ADVANTAGE - Screening, sorting etc. Parallel, opposed and synchronised balance weights minimise reaction on base frame and are of durable retrofittable design.
