<p>A packaged dental article includes a dental appliance (56) that is precoated with an adhesive (60). The adhesive (60) is in contact with a flexible film (48) having a low adhesion surface. The film (48) is secured to a container (38) at a location spaced from the appliance (56) so that the film (48) tends to peel away from the adhesive (60) when the appliance (56) is removed from the container (38) in order to inhibit separation of the adhesive (60) from the appliance (56). The container (38) has a sidewall (40) with a recess (46) that engages a carrier (22) to hold the container (38), and the carrier (22) is flexible to permit the container (38) to be inserted into or released from the carrier (22) when desired.</p> |
