The arrangement for protecting against HF electromagnetic radiation is in the form of an autonomous indicator (1) carried on the body with a sensor (2) consisting of an electriclly conducting base plate (3). The signals from electric monopoles (4) and/or magnetic dipoles mounted above the plate are tested in a comparator (7) w.r.t. critical boundary values stored as a frequency response characteristic in a data memory (8). When a limit is exceeded a display unit (9) is activated. The indicator has a solar, battery-buffered power supply (10). USE/ADVANTAGE - Expands passive protection function by adding indicator system which indicates critical electromagnetic radiation.
