FAT, OIL AND GREASE FLOTATION TREATMENT OF POULTRY AND FOOD INDUSTRY WASTE WATER UTILIZING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

Treatment of food processing plant waste water in a dissolved air flotation unit and/or grease trap with hydrogen peroxide. By contacting the waste water with hydrogen peroxide the fat, oil and/or grease contained in the waste water can be removed by flotation means. By this process lower BOD-values can be achieved than by using known processes.
