PURPOSE:To obtain by a simple operation the titled resin powder useful as a cosmetic scrubber or for a paint which can give a flexible uniform film, by mixing with agitation a resin powder with beads in the presence of an inert solvent. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. resin powder (A) of PE, PP, PS, nylon, polymethyl methacrylate, styrene/acrylate copolymer, ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer or the like, medium diameter of 1-500mu, is mixed with agitation with 1-50pts.wt., per pt.vol. component A, inert beads having a diameter of 0.5-1.0mm, made of glass, ceramic, metal or the like, and having such a strength as not to break during agitation in the presence of 50-2,000pts.wt. solvent (C) inert to compo nent A (e.g., water) and, optionally, 0.1-100pts.wt. dispersant and emulsifier (D) to obtain the titled resin particles satisfying the relationship of the formulas: l>m>n and 100>=l/n>=2 (wherein l is the major diameter, m is the minor diameter and n is the thickness). |
