The invention relates to a method and device for preparing low-temperature foodstuffs, such as soft ice- cream or the like, in which a mixture which is initially liquid is frozen in a freezing chamber. According to the method, an addition which contains flavour-imparting constituents and which is brought to a temperature of below 0 degree C is added to the frozen mixture. The device according to the invention has a feed line which is provided with cooling means in order to make this addition. The feed line may extend through the freezing chamber.
