<p>PURPOSE:To attain high speed print by dividing a line memory into two and applying write/read while the split 1/2 line memory is made independent respectively in a printer using a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:A line memory 1 stores the dot information by one line and split into the 1st and 2nd 1/2 line memories 1a, 1b. A write flip-flop is provided respectively in the memories 1a, 1b. When a data is written in the area of the 1st 1/2 line memory 1a, the write flip-flop goes to an H level to inhibit the write of a video signal of the next field. Further, as to the write/read in the 2nd 1/2 line memory 1b, the operation is the same as that of the 1st memory 1a. Thus the wait time of the video signal up to the printed field is eliminated to attain the high speed print.</p> |
