DEVICE FOR POSITIONING THE TOOL OF A ROCK MINING MACHINE

The device is used in quarries for boulder extraction of rock-facing materials. It helps the positioning of the operative body of the machine to be carried out easily and quickly. It allows for cutting boulders of optional size from a single stationary position of the machine. The device includes a leading (11) and a led (12) shaft, connected via a conical cog gear (2). The led shaft (12) is hollow and contains a compact shaft (18). The top edge of the led shaft (12) - while located beyond a body (10) - holds a flange (13). It is fixed to the body (10) through fixating bolts (14). The led shaft (12) and the compact shaft (18) are connected with an axially mobile connection (19).
