PURPOSE:To improve moisture proofing property by forming an organic protective film made from a hardened film of a UV curing resin consisting of a cross- linking oligomer (A), a certain kind of acrylic ester and/or methacrylic ester (B), and a photopolymerization initiator (C). CONSTITUTION:This optical recording medium is formed by laminating an optical recording layer and an organic protective layer on a transparent substrate. And the organic protective layer is the hardened film of UV curing resin mainly consisting of a cross-linking oligomer (A), a polyfunctional acrylic ester and/or methacrylic ester having >=3 functions (B), and a photopolymerization initiator (C). The amount of the unreacted resin component on the surface is <=40% based on reflective infrared spectrum (FT-IR microscopic reflection method). If the amount of the unreacted resin component becomes >=40%, an organic component is generated by oxidation of double bond contained in the component to easily cause the deterioration of the recording film, for example, under an environment of high temp. and high humidity. |
